When you use a Databank, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, which are subject to change at The Demographic Group’s sole discretion. Your use of and access to Databank indicates your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, as they exist at that time.

DATABANK CONTENT

The Databank content is sourced from publicly available sources including the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). We modify and transform ABS data and third-party data for use in the Databank. We do not own data sourced from the ABS or other third-party data sources. We make no representations about, and accept no liability for, the reliability, completeness, accuracy, suitability, currency or your use of the ABS or third party data.

USE OF THE DATABANK

You may use and replicate Databank content for general informative purposes. Where you replicate Databank content, in whole or in part, for the purposes of publication, you must include an attribution notice in the publication which states:

“This data was configured by The Demographics Group, which can be accessed at nylintranet.blueparrotbch.com, and is based on Australian Bureau of Statistics data.”

You acknowledge and agree that the Databank may contain marketing and/or advertising materials as well as content added by third parties and We do not endorse, sponsor or approve such third-party content or any content available on linked websites.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

The Databank tools, and any intellectual property rights including but not limited to copyright, design rights, patents, inventions, knowhow, trademarks, source codes belonging to Us contained in the Databank or in Our website, including the modification and transformation of ABS data, remain Our property. You must not modify, alter or copy Our property. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions constitutes a transfer of Our intellectual property rights. You agree that you will not do anything that would or might invalidate or put in dispute Our ownership of Our intellectual property rights.

DISCLAIMER, LIABILITY & INDEMNITIES

The Databank is provided ‘as is’.

We make no representations or guarantees regarding:

(a)        the reliability, accuracy, suitability, currency or availability of the Databank, other than to the extent required by law; or

(b)        that the content accessible to you from Databank will always be correct or free from faults, errors and viruses.  

To the fullest extent permitted by law all representations and warranties either express, implied, statutory or otherwise are excluded.
